MECHANICS

Mechanics-

 it is the branch of engineering science which deals with the study of forces and effect of forces on the any bodies in rest or in motion

Branches of mechanics on the basis of state of body-

1)Statics-  It deals with the study of forces and effects of forces on body when it is in rest 

2)Dynamics- It is branch of mechanics which deals with study of forces and effects of forces on body when it is in motion 

It is further divided into two branches 

i)Kinetics- it is the branch of dynamics which deals with study of forces and effects of forces on body when it is in motion considering forces causing the motion

ii)Kinematics-it is the branch of dynamics which deals with study of forces and effects of forces on body when it is in motion without considering forces causing the motion

Branch branches of mechanics based on the type of bodies 

1)Engineering mechanics- engineering mechanics is that branch of engineering science which deals with the study of forces and their effect on the rigid bodies mechanics

2) Mechanics of deformable bodies-we called it as a strength of material all Mos or mechanics of solid or Mechanics of material as well so in this branch of mechanics we deals with the study of forces and their effect on the deformable bodies 

3)Fluid mechanics- 

it is that branch of mechanics in which we deal with the study of forces and their effect on the fluid (fluid means what it means liquid Plus liquid + gases)
